Description

The UMF® (Unique Manuka Factor) rating is an international standard used to measure the biochemical activity (such as antibacterial potency) of Manuka honey.
UMF 25+ represents an extremely high level of antibacterial activity, typically corresponding to an MGO (Methylglyoxal) level of around 1200 mg/kg or higher.
This concentration is exceptionally rare, accounting for less than 0.3% of all Manuka honey produced worldwide.
